Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant to lead requirement gathering, solution design, finance module configuration, and end-to-end implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops to understand business processes and gather finance-related requirements.
- Review and validate FRDs with business stakeholders and technical / functional teams.
- Design solutions following Microsoft best practices; define required customizations with technical leads.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality customization delivery.
- Conduct unit testing before releasing deliverables to functional teams.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including TDDs, extension notes, and integration specs.
- Configure BC finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Cost Accounting).
- Support UAT, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
- Follow complete SDLC using Azure DevOps; manage tasks, sprints, and deployment cycles.
- Utilize Microsoft ALM stack (LCS, BPM, Azure DevOps, PowerApps, O365).
- Identify and implement use-cases for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, CDS).
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, optimization guidelines, and MS best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
3–7 years of experience as a BC / D365 Finance Functional Consultant.Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting principles.Hands-on experience with requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and documentation.Experience integrating BC with Power Platform and third-party systems.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
