Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our project finance team in India. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping the organisation manage its debt related engagements. This position will report to the Investments lead in the country, and will drive our successes in securing and managing loans for our ongoing and future renewable energy projects.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Support a high growth portfolio expand its business rapidly
  • Secure and manage multiple large project finance and other debt facilities for large scale renewable energy projects across India from domestic and international sources of finance
  • Manage the project finance process end to end, from initiation to disbursement and post disbursement management of loans
  • Manage documentation process and diligence process for lenders effectively and timely
  • Manage loan compliances, during construction and operations
  • Project management of different priorities and challenges across different loans and effectively communicating with lenders groups.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the areas project finance and a good understanding of the renewable energy sector in India
  • Proven ability to manage large debt transactions for domestic and / or international lenders
  • Good analytical and financial knowledge
  • Negotiated and participated in at least 2-4 full debt transactions.
  • Good understanding of common debt terms and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrate comfort with managing lender's financial model
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a range of audiences
  • Dynamic self-starter who can manage a range of competing priorities and projects, with a history of achieving excellent results.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
