Position – Senior Assistant Accounting (R2R)

Location : Bangalore (E-City)

Employment : Full time Permanent on-roll job

Flexibility : Should be flexible to work in different shifts / time zones

Working Mode : 5 days a week. Work from Office

Salary - upto 4.3 LPA

Joining : within 0 – 30 days

JD for General Accounting and Reporting (R2R) :

Key Responsibilities-

• Accounting knowledge : Should be strong in end-to-end General accounting knowledge
• Financial reporting : Experienced in preparing VAT reporting, financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
• MIS Reporting : Ageing Report, Collection Stats Report, Bespoke Reports
• Reconciliations : Should have a very good knowledge on reconciliations like BRS, Vendor, Customer, and Payments
• Journal postings : Accruals, prepayments, deferred
• Month-end close Activities : Book closing, prepare Financial Reporting
• Payments : Should know about the client's payments and refunds
• Asset Management / Real Estate Management Knowledge is an added advantage
• Financial compliance : Ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other accounting procedures
• Query handling Capability : A Detailed investigation should be done and provide accurate resolutions to the queries
• Staying up to date : Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
• Additional skillset : Attention to detail, Data analytical, good accounting knowledge, and Proficiency in using accounting software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Microsoft Office (MS Office) : ability to use applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Communication skills : Should be good in both written and oral English communication
• Should be Flexible to work in different shifts / time zones
• Flexibility : Should be flexible to work in different shifts / time zones and ready to extend during the month-end close
• Working Model : Should be flexible in a working model, work from the office (Full-time / Hybrid)

Knowledge and Skills Required :

 Commerce Graduate (B.Com / M.Com / / M.B.A.(Fin)) - Graduation in commerce / finance is mandatory

 2-4 years relevant business experience in R2R (Record to reporting), GL Accounting, FA Accounting or a similar role

 Good interpersonal skills and a team player

 Good communication skills (verbal and written, good command of the English Language)

 Understanding of accounting concepts and principles

 Target-oriented with a strong focus.

 Experience in F&A applications [SAP, Oracle, any other ERP and MS Office applications]

 Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills

 Eye for detail and accuracy
