Responsibilities

Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximise occupancy and rental income.

Identify potential tenants and negotiate lease agreements renewals and expansions.

Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants , retail chains and brokers.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retail sector developments to guide leasing decisions.

Collaborate with marketing and operations team to plan tenant mix, promotional events and mall positioning

Review and approve lease terms, conditions and legal documentation in coordination with the legal team.

Manage tenant onboarding , space handovers and ensure adherence to lease compliance

Prepare regular reports on leasing performance, market insights and forecast revenue

Lead and mentor the leasing team to achieve set targets and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

MBA with minimum of 6 years experience in leasing.

Required Skills

Proven track record in lease negotiation , tenant management and portfolio growth

Strong understanding of retail market dynamics and tenant mix optimisation

Excellent negotiation ,communication and stake holder management skills.

Ability to analyse market data and prepare detailed reports.

Leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.

Experience in working with national and international retail brands.

Knowledge of lease laws and compliance requirements in the region.
