About The Role
We are seeking a skilled
Instructional Designer and E‑Learning Developer to join our global Learning & Development (L&D) team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver compelling digital learning solutions that support organisational goals and enhance colleague experience. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), manage digital learning content within the LMS, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high‑quality digital learning content, including interactive eLearning, microlearning, simulations, animations, and assessments using tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline.
- Partner with SMEs to create engaging, accurate, and role‑specific content.
- Oversee digital learning activities within the LMS—uploading, testing, deploying, and maintaining content.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure learning effectiveness and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Convert legacy training materials into modern, responsive digital formats.
- Create templates, graphics, and visual assets aligned with brand guidelines.
- Conduct post‑implementation reviews to assess outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to broader HR and L&D initiatives, including onboarding, development, engagement, retention, and offboarding.
- Design and maintain self‑directed learning paths within the LMS to support ongoing professional development.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance learning processes to improve colleague experience across the lifecycle.
What will help you succeed in this role
Essential
- Proven experience designing and developing digital learning using Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and similar authoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of LMS platforms and how they support learning delivery and reporting.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, engaging learning content.
- Strong command of instructional design principles across the learning lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with SMEs and global teams.
- Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and quality‑assurance skills.
- Ability to analyse learning data and deliver actionable insights to improve performance.
- Detail‑oriented approach to testing, reviewing, and iterating on learning content.
Desirable
- Experience creating visual or animated content using tools like Powtoon or similar.
- Experience supporting colleague onboarding through digital content development.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles in digital learning.
- Familiarity with global L&D strategies and enterprise‑wide capability frameworks.
