Database Administrator - SQL Server

Job description12+ years of professional experience in MySQL database administration and architecture. Proven expertise with cloud database solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong proficiency in Linux / Unix operating systems and advanced scripting (Bash, Shell, Python, or similar). Deep understanding of performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and Experience handling large-scale, high-transaction databases. Strong leadership skills with experience managing database teams or large projects. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Exposure to NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). Knowledge of CI / CD database integration. Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Responsibilities :
- Design and architect robust database solutions for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Lead MySQL database administration, performance tuning, and complex query optimization.
- Define and implement Cloud DB strategies (AWS RDS / Aurora, Azure Database, GCP Cloud SQL, etc. ).
- Oversee database migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
- Develop and review OS-level automation scripts for monitoring, maintenance, and deployment.
- Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams for seamless integration.
- Ensure database security, compliance, and governance standards are met.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior DBAs and developers.
- Drive continuous improvement in database processes, tools, and infrastructure.
