Job descriptionBuild and maintain strong relationships with government departments and state nodal agencies (e.g., PM-KUSUM). Manage tendering processes and ensure compliance with government procurement norms. Identify, onboard, and train dealers, distributors, and EPC contractors. Monitor channel performance and support them in lead generation and closures. Coordinate with technical, installation, and service teams to ensure timely, quality project delivery. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Lead, mentor, and manage state-level teams across sales, operations, and service functions. Align teams with organizational goals and monitor target achievement. Maintain high customer satisfaction levels and handle escalations effectively. Educate customers about product use, maintenance, and subsidy schemes. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes in solar and renewable energy. Provide regular performance and insight reports to senior management. Ensure timely collection of payments and manage all necessary documentation with government departments and clients. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (preferred). MBA in Marketing or Sales is an added advantage. Experience : 8–15 years in the solar industry, especially solar pumps, B2C sales, or government liaison roles. Proven leadership experience managing state-level operations. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of solar pumps, PV panels, inverters, and balance of systems (BoS). Key Skills : Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven track record in achieving sales and operational targets. Familiarity with CRM and project management tools. Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the state.
