The Role

As a Mainframe CICS & MQ SME at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 8 + years of experience in Mainframe CICS and MQ.
• Installation, upgrade and maintenance of CICS and related products & Sound knowledge in SMPE.
• Experience in problem determination, performance tuning, setting security and web enabling CICS.
• Set up and maintain CICS regions.
• Primary on call support for upgrading / installing and migrating CICS Transaction servers.
• Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
• Knowledge in managing MQ subsystems in Mainframe.
• MQ upgrade from one version to another version in z / os.
• Administration of various MQ objects in Mainframe MQ.
• Working experience with page sets, buffer pools, VSAM files, CSQUSTIL, shared queues and cluster.
