About the Role
We’re hiring a Corporate legal associate to join our growing legal team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that our legal infrastructure keeps pace with business growth and regulatory complexity. This role is ideal for someone with a startup mindset and a sharp legal acumen who can manage commercial contracts and compliance while aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including :
SaaS & IT Services Agreements
Advise on cross-border legal and compliance matters, including data protection, FEMA, and RBI guidelines
Collaboration & Staffing Agreements
NDAs and Marketing Contracts
Advise on cross-border legal and regulatory matters, including :
Data Protection and Privacy Laws
FEMA Guidelines
RBI and other sectoral regulations
Provide legal guidance in contract disputes, dispute resolution, and potential litigation (preferred)
Exposure to international contracting is must, especially within APAC and EU frameworks
Requirements
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is required; Master's or professional certifications (e.g., Bar Admission) are preferred
Experience :
4-6 years of post-qualification experience
Experience in fintech, financial services, or technology sectors is a plus
Prior in-house legal counsel or top-tier law firm experience preferred
Exposure to international (APAC / EU) contracting is desirable
Skills :
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
Proficiency in legal risk assessment and regulatory compliance
Knowledge of data protection, corporate governance, and financial regulation
Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
High ethical standards and integrity
