About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) with 5-8 years of hands-on experience to join our growing technology team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our database environments to ensure high performance, availability, and data integrity.

Youll collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to support existing systems and design future-ready data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., SQL Server or similar).
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures for optimal efficiency and scalability.
• Manage database security, access control, and backup / recovery strategies.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including schemas, procedures, and best practices.
• Support application development teams with query optimization, schema design, and data modeling.
• Implement and maintain high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and replication solutions.
• Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with data governance policies.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide on-call support as needed.
