The CASA Officer is responsible for acquiring new customers for current and savings accounts, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in expanding the bank's customer base and increasing low-cost deposit mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition :
- Source and onboard new individual and business clients for current and savings accounts.
- Conduct field visits, cold calls, and participate in promotional events or campaigns to drive customer acquisition.
- Sales & Cross-Selling :
- Promote bank products and services such as fixed deposits, insurance, mutual funds, and loans.
- Meet assigned sales targets for CASA and cross-sell products.
- Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to enhance loyalty and wallet share.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Documentation & Compliance :
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation for account opening and KYC compliance.
- Adhere to internal policies, regulatory norms, and audit requirements.
- Market Intelligence :
- Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback on market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities and recommend strategies to capture them.
