Purpose of Job (WHY the Job Exists?)

Operational Purpose :

To plan, manage, and control daily production activities in alignment with company objectives. The role ensures achievement of production targets, adherence to quality and safety standards, and efficient utilization of resources.

Strategic Purpose :

To contribute to operational excellence by driving productivity improvements, ensuring compliance with company standards, and fostering effective communication across departments for continuous improvement.

Reports To : Production Manager

Internal Stakeholders :

All departments and staff of Armor India including Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Logistics.

External Stakeholders :

Armor SA and Armor Asia counterparts.

Value Addition / Accountabilities / Key Performance Areas (The Results to be Delivered)

• Smooth processing of customer orders in SAP and coordination between Sales, Production, and Logistics.
• Achieve daily production targets and review performance on a regular basis.
• Maintain high levels of safety, discipline, and 5S practices on the shop floor.
• Ensure production KPIs are consistently met and maintained.
• Accurately record and update daily, weekly, and monthly production data in Excel, ERP (SAP), or other designated systems.
• Optimize machine and manpower utilization by closely monitoring shift changes and work order transitions.
