Engineer II - Developer - SAP HANA (IN)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

• Extract, query, and organize data from complex SAP HANA systems and other large-scale databases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards in all data handling processes.
• Perform data archiving, quality assurance, and integrity checks.
• Troubleshoot database and system issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain system security.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to meet critical business and legal deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management and reporting.

Experience & Educational Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience as an SAP HANA Developer with SQL expertise.
• Hands-on experience with data management, extraction, reporting, and database administration.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools : SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and R.
• Knowledge of database security, regulatory compliance, and handling of sensitive data (PII / PHI).
• Experience with data archiving practices, data quality assurance, and large-scale data storage.
