About Data Analytics (DA)

Data Analytics is one of the highest growth practices within Evalueserve, providing you rewarding career opportunities. Established in 2014, the global DA team extends beyond 1000+ (and growing) data science professionals across data engineering, business intelligence, digital marketing, advanced analytics, technology, and product engineering. Our more tenured teammates, some of whom have been with Evalueserve since it started more than 20 years ago, have enjoyed leadership opportunities in different regions of the world across our seven business lines.

What you will be doing at Evalueserve

• Database & SQL Development :  Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries on Teradata, Hive, and other RDBMS systems. Ensure data consistency, quality, and performance tuning of databases.
• Automation & Scripting :  Develop reusable Python scripts for automation, data validation, and process scheduling. Work with Airflow, Oozie, or similar workflow schedulers.
• Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting :  Monitor and tune PySpark jobs and Hadoop cluster performance. Debug and optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :  Work with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand requirements. Provide guidance on data best practices, architecture, and governance. Strong expertise in PySpark, Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Sqoop, Hive, MapReduce).
