Skechers - Assistant Manager - Product Merchandiser - Sports Equipment Segment

Job Description :

• Assist in developing and implementing product merchandising plans and strategies for the Skechers Sports Equipment category.
• Support the Category Manager in selecting the right product mix to meet customer demand while aligning with brand standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize overstock or stock-out situations.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, understand customer behavior, and make data-driven decisions regarding buying, product placement, and promotions.
• Collaborate in creating and maintaining visually appealing displays and store layouts that enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely product delivery and efficient inventory flow.
• Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns and events to support business objectives.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory health, and key merchandising metrics.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment of merchandising strategies.
• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging merchandising concepts.
• Identify and resolve any issues related to merchandising, buying, or production.
• Train sales staff and other internal teams on sports equipment products and features.
