Roles and Responsibilities
Eligibility Files (20%)
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT teams to manage eligibility file transfers, ensuring accuracy for active and COBRA populations
- Read and interpret vendor file specifications and coordinate with IT to validate and maintain data integrity for over 40 vendors
- Manage inbound and outbound retiree eligibility files for Medicare exchange and support Benefit Coordinator with retiree data
- Coordinate new vendor account structures and align them with internal systems for integration
- Assist Senior Analyst with 401(k) eligibility validation
Reporting (20%)
Build and maintain ad hoc reports to meet internal business needs, including census and absence dataConduct regular audits of employee data fields to ensure system integrityLead benefit-related year-end reporting including W2, Highly Compensated Employee (HCE), and Health Savings Account (HSA) dataSystem Configuration & Enrollment Data Management (55%)
Test, configure, and maintain benefit plans and life events, and serve as project lead during annual open enrollmentApprove all system changes before migration to production environmentsLead Oracle quarterly patch testing, conduct system audits, and validate elections, integrations, and life event processingManage Absence / Time Off system projects, implementing changes due to compliance or brand updates in coordination with IT, Total Rewards, Payroll, and HR teamsServe as a liaison between Total Rewards and IT to identify and resolve configuration and integration requirementsProcess, Procedures & Compliance (5%)
Develop and maintain documentation for benefits, absence / time off, and retiree benefit proceduresEnsure all programs are administered in compliance with federal and organizational regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, DOL, ACA, etc.)Skills Required
