Job title : Design Engineer_ NPD_ Plastic Design Sheet Metal Design

Experience : 3 to 7 years

Qualifications : BE / B / Tech – Mechanical or Equivalent

Job Location : Thane

Must to have skills : Sheet metal design / Plastic product design / Mould Design / Injection Moulding / Tool Design / SPM / Material Handling / SolidWorks

Job Responsibilities

Understand the requirements and work with different teams to implement new ideas.
Make design concept and detail engineering
Design considering manufacturability, cost, performance and durability.
Conduct design review to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.
Knowledge in GDT, stack up analysis, different industrial standards like ANSI, JIS, DIN etc.
Close co-ordination with customers and supplier.
Good knowledge in Tooling, fixture and jigs would be a plus.
Knowledge of manufacturing / production / assembly processes would be a plus.
Hands on experience in various manufacturing processes would be a plus.

Desired Skillsets

Good in engineering mechanics, strength of materials theory of machines.

A good grasp of engineering and design principles

3 +years of Core experience in Special Purpose Machines, Machine Design, Material handling, Packaging Machines, Conveyors, Sheet metal design , Plastic product design, Tool design, Injection moulding

Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic.

Knowledge in GDT, stack up analysis.

Good knowledge on SolidWorks as a 3d modelling software.

Good communication skills and good team working skills.

Willing to travel overseas for short and long assignments.

Basic understanding of Information Security Management system
