We are seeking an experienced Indian Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional Indian cooking, with a passion for creating authentic dishes that delight our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and maintain stock levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and timely service.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Skills and Qualifications
5-6 years of experience in Indian cuisine, with a strong understanding of regional variations.Proficient in using various kitchen equipment and tools, including tandoor ovens, grinders, and other cooking appliances.Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking methods.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and presentation.Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Skills Required
