Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Import Export Manager at BECK AND CALL SERVICES, located in Mumbai. The Import Export Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing import-export operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Key daily tasks include coordinating and negotiating with freight forwarders and shipping agents, preparing and processing import and export documentation according to customs regulations, and managing the transportation and distribution of goods. The role also involves monitoring shipments, ensuring the timely delivery of products, and handling the resolution of any arising issues. The Import Export Manager will also work closely with other departments to optimize the supply chain and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Qualifications
Experience with Import and Export regulations, Customs documentation, and shipping procedures
Strong negotiation and communication skills for interacting with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and other stakeholders
Proficiency in preparing and processing import-export documentation
Knowledge of international trade laws and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field
Experience in the logistics or supply chain management industry is a plus
