Position Summary
We are seeking a Level 1 Engineer to join our Device Management Team with at least 2+ years of experience in managing security devices and network infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day administration and monitoring of Next-Gen Firewalls, NAC solutions like Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass, and wired / wireless networks. The candidate should have a strong grasp of ITIL processes including Incident and Change Management and be willing to work in a 24 / 7 shift environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform health monitoring and status checks of managed security devices
- Handle and close tickets (P1 to P4) in alignment with SLAs
- Manage lifecycle tasks of security devices under scope
- Adhere strictly to SOPs created by Level 2 / 3 team members
- Follow incident, change, and escalation management processes
- Coordinate with OEMs for ticket escalation and resolution
- Prepare weekly and monthly device management reports for SOC leadership
- Maintain clear documentation and provide updates during shift handovers
Basic Qualifications

Hands-on administration and troubleshooting experience with at least one of the following :Next-Gen Firewalls / UTMs : Palo Alto (preferred), Juniper (preferred), Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA / FTDNAC Solutions : Cisco ISE (preferred), Aruba ClearPassUnderstanding of networking concepts such as RADIUS, TACACS, MAB, and Guest FlowKnowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management)Experience working in an enterprise or SOC / NOC environmentFamiliarity with ticketing tools and reporting systemsSkills Required
