Job Description for Senior Network Operations Engineer :

Required Qualifications

• 8 years extensive experience in the support of Networking Technologies
• Strong technical decision making skills
• Experience in escalation management
• Expertise in the security of enterprise networks
• Expert level Understanding of OSPF, BGP, VPLS and MPLS and various routing technologies
• Expert knowledge and in-depth experience to troubleshoot all layers of the OSI model, acting as the 3rd level of technical escalation during incidents
• Experience with NX-OS, IOS, SD-WAN, PANOS, or FTD
• Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology
• In-depth and hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following compliance requirements : PCI DSS,
• SOC 2, HIPAA / HITRUST and ISO 27001.
• Experience with automation tools
• Hands-on configuration experience in monitoring tools like ThousandEyes and Solarwinds
• In-depth experience with security best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of SSL, and VPN
• Candidates should have good Project Management skills and be able to lead projects with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing interactions
• Strong ownership in continuous improvement, identification and remediation of risks in technology / process, with minimal supervision
• Able multitask and apply technology expertise to ensure deadlines are met Keen attention to detail in planning, reviewing and executing successful implementations with zero defects
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
