Head of Engineering

The role :

We are seeking an innovative and experienced diversity tech leader to take on the role of Director of Engineering in REA Cyber City, a key member of the REA CC tech leadership team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building world-class engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, and delivering high-quality solutions that drive significant business value.

You will also be a member of REA Group’s tech leadership community, collaborating closely with local and Australia-based senior leaders to shape the future of REA Cyber City

• Fostering a constant flow of ideas for innovation in both business processes and engineering delivery.
• Champion an engineering culture that prioritizes collaboration and technical excellence.
• Oversee the internal and external quality of deliverables across the portfolio of work, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
• Guide the team in identifying and leveraging appropriate emerging technologies to drive business value.
• Establish and maintain high engineering standards and governance practices.

An experienced technologist and leader with a 15+ years of experience along with robust background in engineering management, you'll be instrumental in steering complex systems and propelling organizational success. You possess proven abilities in fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture, engaging effectively with senior stakeholders, and driving technical excellence.
