Network Security Specialist

Network Security F5 WAF (L2 & above)

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the security of our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firewall management, intrusion detection / prevention systems, VPNs, and network security architecture. You will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets from internal and external threats.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

🟡Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions to protect against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.

🟡Configure and maintain firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), routers, and switches with a focus on security.

🟡Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and take appropriate action in response to security incidents.

🟡Manage and maintain IDS / IPS, SIEM systems, and endpoint protection solutions.

🟡Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.

🟡Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce security policies and best practices.

🟡Implement and manage VPNs, proxy servers, and secure remote access tools.

🟡Keep up with the latest security threats and trends; recommend mitigation strategies.

🟡Maintain and update documentation of network security architecture, configurations, and policies.

PRIMARY SKILLS :

🔷5–10 years of experience in network security or a similar role.

🔷Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPN, NAC, and SIEM tools.

🔷Strong understanding of TCP / IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and subnetting.

🔷Expertise in security protocols and encryption technologies (SSL / TLS, IPsec).

🔷Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

🔷Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, CEH, or Palo Alto PCNSE preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• ️Experience with Zero Trust Architecture.
• ️Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation of security tasks.
