Network Security F5 WAF (L2 & above)

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the security of our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firewall management, intrusion detection / prevention systems, VPNs, and network security architecture. You will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets from internal and external threats.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions to protect against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.

Configure and maintain firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), routers, and switches with a focus on security.

Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and take appropriate action in response to security incidents.

Manage and maintain IDS / IPS, SIEM systems, and endpoint protection solutions.

Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.

Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce security policies and best practices.

Implement and manage VPNs, proxy servers, and secure remote access tools.

Keep up with the latest security threats and trends; recommend mitigation strategies.

Maintain and update documentation of network security architecture, configurations, and policies.

PRIMARY SKILLS :

5–10 years of experience in network security or a similar role.

Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPN, NAC, and SIEM tools.

Strong understanding of TCP / IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and subnetting.

Expertise in security protocols and encryption technologies (SSL / TLS, IPsec).

Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, CEH, or Palo Alto PCNSE preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience with Zero Trust Architecture.

Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation of security tasks.
