We are seeking an experienced Workday Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Workday solutions for a product-based environment.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring Workday configurations, integrations, and deployments align with organizational business needs.
This role requires strong expertise in Workday modules, architectural best practices, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive seamless HR and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Workday Architecture, Design & Implementation Lead the design, development, and delivery of Workday solutions across HCM, Payroll, Finance, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, or other relevant modules.
- Architect scalable, sustainable, and secure Workday configurations based on organizational needs. Ensure that Workday deployments adhere to best practices, governance standards, and release management guidelines.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into functional and technical Workday solutions.
- Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, technical requirements, timelines, and budget commitments are met.
- Identify, anticipate, and mitigate technical, financial, legal, security, and contractual risks proactively.
- Lead client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and long-term collaboration.
- Drive project execution through effective coordination and management of Workday development, integration, and technical teams.
- Consulting & Business Optimization Conduct assessments and provide expert recommendations to optimize and extend Workday functionalities.
- Review existing systems, integrations, and workflows to identify improvement areas and automation opportunities.
- Guide business teams on platform capabilities, Workday roadmap, upcoming releases, and feature adoption.
- Integration & Technical Architecture Oversee the development of integrations between Workday and third-party applications using Workday Studio, EIB, PECI, PICOF, and other integration tools.
- Ensure strong API governance, data mapping, exception handling, and error monitoring across integrations.
- Provide architectural oversight for system landscape, security model, tenant configuration, and workflow automation.
Internal Responsibilities :
Participate in recruitment efforts to build and scale Workday / technical teams.Mentor and coach junior consultants, analysts, and developers.Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) with detailed technical solutions, architecture diagrams, and effort estimations.Contribute to internal innovation projects, accelerators, and reusable Workday assets.(ref : hirist.tech)
