Description : Role Overview :
We are hiring a dedicated Solution Architect to serve as the technical lead and project manager for all external partner integrations and merchant onboarding.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role that requires a blend of technical depth, project management rigor, and excellent stakeholder communication, particularly in a high-volume payments or fintech environment.
You will be instrumental in enabling our product and market expansion through seamless partner integration.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Partner Integration and Technical Enablement
- Onboarding & Alignment : Lead engagement with new partners, guiding them through the onboarding process and collaborating to define the final integration model and specification.
- API & Documentation : Work closely with internal teams to understand, align on, and effectively communicate the API specification documentation to external partners, ensuring technical clarity.
- Technical Communication : Drive technical conversations in new feature alignment, troubleshooting sessions, and specification reviews with partners.
- Merchant Onboarding : Apply deep knowledge of our products and technologies to guide merchants efficiently onto our platform, walking them through technical details and resolving complex issues during onboarding.
Project Management & Quality Assurance :
Project Oversight : Track and oversee multiple integration projects simultaneously, strictly ensuring they meet all target milestones and deadlines.Reporting : Generate regular, comprehensive reports on the status of ongoing integrations, highlighting progress, current issues, and critical blockers to management.Integration Testing : Lead the integration testing efforts for the combined product experience across multiple partners, ensuring robust quality before launch.Issue Resolution : Test, report, and drive issues from investigation to closure, proactively managing escalation to internal cross-functional teams to keep projects on track.Flexibility : Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple integration projects simultaneously and the flexibility to work during odd hours if required, based on partner outages or critical system issues.Technical Support and Troubleshooting :
Technical Debugging : Proactively identify, address, and escalate any integration issues and blockers.You must be able to read technical documentation, analyze logs, and provide the necessary inputs for partners to debug and resolve technical issues during integration.
Opportunity Unlocking : Work closely with partner teams to unlock new business opportunities by developing a deep understanding of their goals and merchant demands.On-site Support : Show willingness to visit partner locations locally for hands-on integration support or quick resolution of critical issues.Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience (Mandatory) : 7+ years of relevant experience, with a significant focus on Merchant Onboarding and Technical Integration.Technical Foundational Skills : Prior experience in any programming language (to understand code logic, not necessarily coding production features).Data Proficiency : Prior experience in writing and executing SQL queries for troubleshooting and data analysis.Integration Troubleshooting : Strong understanding of troubleshooting complex integration issues, with mandatory familiarity with core web protocols (API, HTTP, REST, JSON, etc.Stakeholder Management : Good communication skills, with the proven ability to effectively manage technical communication with external partners and engage internal teams for escalations.Business Acumen : Ability to quickly understand our products and the mechanics of partner integrations.Industry Experience : Experience working with payment partners is highly preferred(ref : hirist.tech)
