Director of Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy & Vision : You'll set the technical roadmap and vision for the engineering teams, making critical decisions on architecture, technology stack, and engineering methodologies. You'll drive the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure systems that handle high-volume transactions and sensitive financial data.
• Engineering Team Leadership : You'll build, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and engineering managers. Your responsibilities include talent acquisition, performance management, career development, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : You'll act as a key liaison between the engineering team and other departments, including Product, Finance, Operations, and Legal / Compliance. You'll translate business requirements into technical solutions and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fintech & Compliance Expertise : You will be accountable for ensuring all technical systems adhere to strict financial regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, KYC, AML). You'll oversee the implementation of robust security measures, risk mitigation strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
