About the Role :

Ready to make a real impact in the lives of people navigating substance use challenges? Alcohol and Drug Services (ADS), part of the dynamic Mental Health, Justice Health, and Alcohol & Drug Services division, is on the lookout for a passionate Registered Nurse Level 3.1 to join our Drug and Alcohol Sentencing List (DASL) Program based at the ACT Courts in Canberra City. This is your chance to be at the forefront of harm minimisation, working within a contemporary, evidence-based service that spans everything from opioid treatment and inpatient withdrawal to counselling and court diversion. In this role, you’ll provide clinical assessment, therapeutic counselling, psychoeducation, and case management for individuals referred by the DASL, helping them access the support and treatment they need. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and liaise with stakeholders across the AOD sector and Justice Health, all while being supported in your professional development and clinical supervision.
