About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Security L3 Engineer

to join our cybersecurity team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing advanced network security technologies across a large enterprise environment. This role demands deep hands-on experience, especially with

Palo Alto firewalls , and a strong understanding of end-to-end network protection frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot

Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortigate

firewalls.

Monitor and maintain

IDS / IPS (McAfee) ,

Proxy (McAfee / Zscaler) ,

WAF (Akamai) , and

Email Gateway (Cisco Ironport) .

Conduct

security incident management , root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Collaborate with internal and vendor teams to strengthen network defense and ensure compliance.

Perform

regular security audits , rule reviews, and policy optimizations.

Mentor junior engineers and act as an escalation point for complex issues.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years

of hands-on experience in security infrastructure management.

Strong expertise in

Palo Alto Firewalls

(PCNSA / PCNSE certification preferred).

Familiarity with

Juniper SRX, Fortigate, McAfee, Zscaler, Akamai, and Cisco Ironport .

In-depth knowledge of

network security protocols ,

incident management , and

vulnerability analysis .

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Palo Alto PCNSE / PCNSA

JNCIA / JNCIP (Security)

ZIA-A / ZIA-P (Zscaler Internet Access)

CISSP

or equivalent
