Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, located in Andheri West, Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing general ledger transactions, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. He will be responsible till finalising the balance sheet and for filing GST and TDS returns. He has to have exposure in managing the CC and term loan accounts with the bank and be able to make the CMA data and managing forward contracts of exports . The Senior Accountant will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, as well as analyzing financial data to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and finalize financial statements up to the balance sheet for income tax.

Manage general ledger transactions and reconcile accounts.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory regulations.

Handle GST and TDS returns and related compliance.

Manage cash credit (CC) and term loan accounts with banks.

Prepare CMA data and liaise with banks for financial requirements.

Manage forward contracts related to exports.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills :

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.

Prior job experience in Pharmaceutical export firm

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and banking procedures.

Experience in preparing CMA data and handling forward contracts is a must.

Proficiency in accounting software ( Tally).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Minimum 10 years experience as a senior accountant
