Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements
- Analyzing in depth financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash
flows)
Preparation of data books in accordance with firm and professional standards and in accordance withthe requirements of the project
Identification of key issues and carrying out the relevant financial analysisHighlighting unusual trends observations and frame questions for the target company managementDevelop operational insights utilizing data & analytics in order analyze the drivers of profitability andevaluate key risks and opportunities of a company
Build industry skills and qualificationsLearning and deploying new-age technologies to enhance insights and efficiency on engagements (ourtech stack includes Tableau, Dataiku, Alteryx)
Writing sections of FDD reportEstablishing strong working relationships with HL deal teams globally and clientsOther ad-hoc pre-acquisition and post-acquisition due diligence and research support tasksBasic Qualifications :
Academic qualification : CA / MBA / PGDM in finance / accounting, with graduate degree in accountingStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsExcellent written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.Highly motivated with an exceptional work ethic, and a demonstrated ability and desire to workcooperatively with team members and client professionals
Strong analytical abilitiesPreferred Qualifications :
Working knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP) will be preferredPreference for candidates with 1 to 2 years’ experience in financial due diligence / M&A advisory / audit/ accounting / other financial or accounting domains
Working knowledge of data analytics technologies such as Alteryx, Dataiku, Tableau, Power BI will bean added advantage
