Assistant Vice President

This is a senior leadership role in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Operations , mainly for broker support, binding, and underwriting operations . The person will manage a large team (200–300 people) , working with US clients in night shifts (US hours) .

Industry & Context

Property & Casualty Insurance (P&C) : Insurance that covers property (homes, cars, businesses) and liability (accidents, injuries).

Brokerage & Binding :

Brokerage → Working with insurance brokers who connect clients with insurers.

Binding authority → Brokers / agents authorized to accept risks and issue policies on behalf of insurers.

Underwriting Operations : Support in evaluating risks, processing policies, and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership – Oversee day-to-day delivery of insurance operations (policy issuance, claims support, endorsements, renewals).

Team Management – Lead large operations teams (200–300 span), including managers and associates.

Broker & Underwriting Support – Ensure smooth handling of broker queries, policy binding, underwriting assistance.

Process Excellence – Drive SLA adherence, quality checks, and compliance with US insurance regulations.

Client Engagement – Interact with US clients / brokers, manage escalations, and ensure high service delivery.

Shift & Location – US shift timing, office-based role in Madurai & Noida.

✅ Must-Have Skills

P&C Insurance expertise (brokerage, underwriting, operations).

Operations management (large team handling, SLA governance, process improvement).

Broker experience (supporting brokers and binding authority).

Leadership (span of 200–300 FTE).

Flexibility to work in US shifts (night shifts) .
