Position Overview : We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Manager – Sales & Marketing (Fillers & Masterbatches) to support business development and customer acquisition across Gujarat and Western India. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in selling polymer compounds, filler grades, and masterbatches used in woven sacks, lamination films, PP sheets, packaging, and related industries. This role will focus on achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the growth of Terramag’s fillers and masterbatch portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Identify, engage, and onboard customers using filler compounds and masterbatches (e.g., woven sack, lamination, PP sheet, film manufacturers).
2. Drive sales and growth for Terramag’s filler and masterbatch range across Gujarat and neighboring regions.
3. Maintain strong technical understanding of product grades (transparent, shiner, lamination, woven sack, and PP sheet fillers).
4. Work closely with production and R&D teams to tailor grades as per customer requirements.
5. Conduct field visits, trials, and technical presentations at customer plants.
6. Monitor competitor pricing, products, and market trends to shape strategy.
7. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, manage distributor and agent relationships.
8. Provide market feedback for new product development and expansion plans.
9. Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, and OEMs.
10. Drive new customer acquisition while ensuring high retention of existing clients.
Qualifications :
1. B.E. / B.Tech in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
2. MBA (Marketing / Operations) preferred.
3. 4-7 years of experience in sales & marketing within the fillers, masterbatches, or polymer compounding industry.
4. Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and market expansion.
5. Strong understanding of polymer applications, formulation, and processing technologies.
