About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Security L3 Engineer to join our cybersecurity team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing advanced network security technologies across a large enterprise environment. This role demands deep hands-on experience, especially with Palo Alto firewalls, and a strong understanding of end-to-end network protection frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortigate firewalls.
• Monitor and maintain IDS / IPS (McAfee), Proxy (McAfee / Zscaler), WAF (Akamai), and Email Gateway (Cisco Ironport).
• Conduct security incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with internal and vendor teams to strengthen network defense and ensure compliance.
• Perform regular security audits, rule reviews, and policy optimizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
