Database Engineer

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assist in the development and testing of ETL packages using IBM DataStage.

Write and maintain basic T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.

Support data integration and transformation processes.

Contribute to automation efforts using PowerShell or Bash under supervision.

Participate in performance monitoring and basic tuning activities.

Document ETL processes and support knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.

Assist in incident resolution and root cause analysis.

FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS

Skills and Experience :

2 3 years of experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage or similar ETL tools.

Basic proficiency in T-SQL and scripting (PowerShell / Bash).

Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration workflows.

Exposure to performance tuning and database optimization.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Willingness to learn and grow within a technical team environment.
