Retail Trainer - Fashion & Styling

Styling Education & Sales Enablement

• Develop and deliver styling tips, “how-to-wear” guides, and outfit-pairing techniques that upskill the retail sales team.
• Train store staff on new collections: fabrics, fits, key features, and how to style each piece for different body types, occasions, and customer profiles.
• Create quick-reference styling playbooks and lookbooks that staff can use on the floor.
• Coach the team on reading customer needs and confidently recommending complementary products (upselling and cross-selling through styling).

Content Creation

• Produce engaging reels, short videos, and social-ready styling content featuring current products.
• Model and demonstrate outfit combinations, trend interpretations, and seasonal edits.
• Keep content aligned with brand aesthetic and current fashion trends.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing on campaign styling, content calendars, and storytelling.
• Work with Designers to understand design intent and translate it into wearable, sellable styling narratives.
• Collaborate with Merchandising to align styling with in-store product placement, bestsellers, and inventory priorities.
• Provide floor-level feedback to merchandising and design on what customers respond to.

Conversion Focus

• Identify styling opportunities that increase basket size and conversion rates.
• Support visual merchandising with mannequin and display styling that drives purchase intent.
• Track which styling tips and content translate into sales, and refine the approach accordingly.

Experience:- 4 to 7 Years

Education: PG/Masters' in Fashion Management

Skills & Knowledge:-

• Background in fashion styling, personal styling, retail, or a related field.

• Should have sound knowledge of AI tools & technology.

• Strong knowledge of current trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and how to style for a diverse customer base.

• Comfortable on camera and skilled at creating short-form video content

• Excellent communication and teaching skills — able to make styling simple and repeatable for non-experts.

• Collaborative mindset with experience working across marketing, design, and merchandising.

• Commercial awareness: understands that great styling should also sell.
