Senior Appian Technical Consultant

PolariseMe is looking for a Senior Appian Technical Consultant with a passion for implementing enterprise applications using Appian’s leading low-code digital transformation platform .

This is a senior client-facing technical role requiring strong hands-on Appian expertise, technical leadership, problem-solving ability, and experience delivering enterprise applications successfully through to go-live.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise solutions using Appian and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Analyse, document and translate functional and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead technical design and implementation activities across Appian projects.
• Communicate effectively with key client stakeholders, architects and technical teams throughout solution design and implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical, performance and scalability issues.
• Support projects through deployment, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation.
• Prepare and circulate project status reports, keeping stakeholders aligned with delivery schedules, priorities and risks.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants and business analysts in application development and implementation methodologies.
• Promote strong Appian development practices, solution quality and technical standards.

Required Experience

• Appian Lead Developer credentials/certification.
• Experience leading at least 2 Appian projects through successful go-live as a Technical Lead.
• Proven experience with development, configuration, integration, testing and deployment of enterprise software applications using Agile methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appian application architecture, integrations, data, interfaces and process models.
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving Appian performance and scalability issues .
• 5+ years of experience with low-code digital transformation technologies , preferably Appian, or equivalent experience with platforms such as Pega, IBM or OutSystems.
• Working knowledge of business process modelling standards and methodologies, including BPMN, EPC and VACD.
• Working knowledge of enterprise technologies including Java, J2EE, SQL, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, Web Services, LDAP and SAML .
• Strong problem-solving, solution design and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time , depending on client requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior software consulting experience, ideally within ERP, BPM, Document Management or Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) environments.
• Project management experience, including project planning, risk and scope management, change control and delivery governance. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience conducting business value analysis and helping clients achieve measurable business outcomes and ROI.
• Developer certification in Appian or another leading low-code platform.
• Experience with large-scale or complex enterprise Appian implementations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field .
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.
