Job Summary :

The Solution Architect, D&T, ABAP possesses knowledge and experience to work autonomously.

The position with guidance will be responsible for the overall design, development and implementation of SAP ABAP Applications.

The role should have knowledge in the areas of solution design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Working in a global environment, this role has a hands-on approach capable of working across teams and time zones.

This role must have hands-on experience in ABAP OO programming, Smartforms, SAPSCRIPT, Dialog Programming / Module-Pool Programming, Workflow, ALV Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements and ALE / IDOC.

Experience in Agile development methodology for projects and enhancements and SAP PI experience are preferred.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

• Possesses understanding of overall vision, business needs and the solution architecture for SAP applications.
• Uses this knowledge to solve problems.
• Utilizes knowledge of best practices and provide the technical solution design.
• Works closely with the process team to understand the business requirements, review the functional specs, develop technical specs, build the application, unit test the application and support the process team during integration testing.
• With guidance designs and builds applications with best practices in mind.
• Investigates and corrects production issues.
• May be involved with supports and training other team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities :

Education :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Work Experience :

Minimum 3 years Of relevant experience in the areas specified under Essential Duties and Responsibilities required and.

Travel Requirements :

10% : Up to 26 business days per year.

Physical Requirements :

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs / 4kgs of force occasionally, and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
