Power BI Developer - Data Visualization Tools

This role is focused on Power BI development and data visualization, not data engineering.

You will be responsible for creating compelling and insightful reports and dashboards that drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and SQL, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Power BI Development : Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
• Create visually appealing and informative visualizations to effectively communicate data insights.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
• Implement best practices for Power BI development and deployment.
• Data Modeling and Visualization : Develop and maintain data models within Power BI, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Apply strong data visualization principles to create clear and concise reports.
• Understand and implement appropriate data relationships and hierarchies.
• DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) : Develop and implement complex DAX calculations for advanced data analysis.
• Optimize DAX queries for performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and debug DAX issues.
• SQL (Structured Query Language) : Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases.
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy.
• Data Preparation and Warehousing : Perform data preparation and transformation using Power Query.
• Work with data gateways to ensure seamless data connectivity.
• Understand and apply data warehousing concepts.
• Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI reports and dashboards.
