International Program Counselor

The company focuses on study abroad pathways, cultural exchange programs, and international workforce recruitment across the United States and Europe.

The International Programs Executive / Counsellor is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The primary responsibility of this role is to guide prospective candidates through various study abroad, work abroad and Internship opportunities by personalized counselling.

Key responsibilities include:

Counsel prospective students/professionals on abroad programs and eligibility requirements.

Contact and follow up with leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.

Effectively utilize AI tools and automation to improve communication, follow-ups, and lead nurturing.

Conduct daily counselling sessions and maintain regular follow-ups to maximize conversions.

Organize webinars, information sessions, and student engagement activities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM and internal systems.

Work on targeted calling campaigns and consistently achieve lead conversion goals.

Research and identify new lead generation sources and partnership opportunities.

Create and optimize email and WhatsApp templates for marketing and student communication.

Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and student recruitment activities.

Identify student requirements, recommend the most suitable study abroad or related programs, and guide them toward successful enrollment while ensuring value for both the student and the organization.

Requirements

Qualifications

Strong counseling and advisory skills, Communication skills with the ability to understand candidate goals and recommend suitable abroad pathways.

Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and different country visa procedures for key destinations (e.g., U.S. and Europe), or a willingness to learn quickly.

Proficiency in using office productivity tools and CRM or databases to manage leads, follow-ups, and applicant records.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Education, Business, or related fields are an advantage.

Prior experience in abroad counseling, international education, or candidate services is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to work ethically, respect diverse backgrounds, and adhere to transparent, compliance-focused processes.
