Project Manager Technical Lead

Objective of the project is to implement a solution to retain all data / documents needed to satisfy (a) Retention requirements of all Acts and Regulations governing the Credit Cards business (e.g. ECOA, FCRA, EFTA, TILA etc.), (b) Privacy Policy and (c) Any litigation and legal holds. The solution should enable retrieval of data/documents to service Regulatory inquiries, Audit requests, Litigation requests, as well as all account documentation requirements from other external parties related to the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

The role is a combination of Technical Project Management and Business Analysis. The person will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engg, Risk, Operations, Product, Marketing and Delivery oriented to:

1. Own the analysis of Regulatory requirements to identify all data & documents to be retained
2. Identify and collate all artefacts to be retained corresponding to the given requirements
3. Run daily/weekly calls with Engg and other stakeholders (Scrum format) to drive execution
4. Good risk discipline; Proactively manage all risks and dependencies; Resolve blockers for Project execution; Manage inter-team dependencies to mitigate risks
5. Complete testing to ensure all required artefacts are retained as expected
6. Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including business, product, operations, risk, legal and compliance, and engineering organizations
7. Coordinate with Engg to complete data migrations on time and as per quality standards
8. Plan and prepare for all Governance meetings with senior stakeholders and Steering Group
9. Collaborate with vendors and Engineering teams to plan for all data sourcing and migrations
10. Clear written communication and documentation discipline
11. Provide status transparency to stakeholders, including drafting and publishing status updates

Location: Bengaluru Office; Expect Full time work from office

Technical Skills Requirements:

1. Ability to work with Data tools/utilities (Databricks/Snowflake) and AWS S3/Athena
2. Strong SQL skills
3. Strong hands-on experience working with Excel, JIRA, Confluence (at least 3-4 years for each)
4. Understanding of Agile methodologies, and experience as a Scrum Master

Other critical requirements of the role:

1. 8+ years of pure-play Project Mgmt. experience (QA/test manager experience will not count)
2. Extremely good with planning and organizing deliverables
3. Self-starter, who can take full ownership of deliverables to drive them independently
4. High degree of perseverance and the ability to negotiate on deliverables/target dates etc.
5. Takes initiative, solves problems, goes deep where needed
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills
7. Ability to communicate, negotiate independently with senior stakeholders (Senior VPs, MDs)
8. Ability to generate impactful PPTs, summarize content for senior level discussions
9. Must be willing to cover 4+ hours during US hours (6-1030pm IST)
