Sr. Software Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code using React, Node.js frameworks (e.g., Next.js), and Python.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and implement features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and stability.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines for efficient data processing and management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations and customizations.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure application security
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes and software quality

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Next.js).
• Solid understanding of Python and its applications in backend development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Salesforce development experience (e.g., Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL).

Bonus Skills (Assets):

• Experience with data pipeline technologies (e.g., Airbyte, Dagster).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Typescript.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
