Bahwan CyberTek - SAP Interface Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Interface Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between SAP systems and external applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP integration technologies and a solid understanding of business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP interfaces using tools such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs.

- Build and manage integrations using middleware platforms like SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI (Integration Suite), or other ETL tools.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Monitor and troubleshoot interface issues, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.

- Document interface designs, mappings, and technical specifications.

- Optimize existing interfaces for performance and scalability.

- Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience with SAP ABAP (especially in interface development).

- Hands-on experience with :

1. IDocs (Inbound/Outbound)

2. BAPIs / RFCs

3. ALE/EDI concepts

- Experience with middleware tools such as :

1. SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI (Integration Suite)

2. REST/SOAP APIs and web services

- Knowledge of data formats : XML, JSON, EDI.

- Understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) is a plus.

- Familiarity with error handling, monitoring tools, and debugging techniques.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud integrations (e.g., SAP BTP Integration Suite).

- Exposure to third-party integrations (Salesforce, banking systems, etc.).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- SAP certification in integration or ABAP (nice to have).

Soft Skills :

- Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.

- Strong analytical thinking.

- Good documentation and communication skills.

Typical Tools & Technologies :

- SAP ABAP Workbench.

- SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.

- SAP Solution Manager (for monitoring).

- Postman / API tools.

- Git or other version control systems.
