Lead end-to-end satellite system design and architecture development for CubeSat and small satellite missions.
Translate mission objectives into system-level requirements ensuring alignment across all subsystems (payload power ADCS propulsion communication and thermal).
Own and manage system budgets including mass power data rate link budget and V.
Perform system trade-off studies to optimize performance cost and risk for mission success.
Drive system integration and interface definition across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Lead and coordinate design reviews (SRR PDR CDR) and ensure technical readiness at each stage.
Develop and maintain system engineering documentation including requirements ICDs and verification plans.
Ensure mission feasibility and performance validation through simulations analysis and testing.
Work closely with payload and RF teams to define communication architecture link budget and coverage strategy.
Support launch vehicle integration mission planning and on-orbit operations strategy.
Identify and mitigate technical risks ensuring reliability and compliance with space standards.
Collaborate with program management to support schedule cost and milestone tracking.
Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering strong systems engineering practices within the team.
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
Experience with mission analysis orbit design and simulation tools (STK GMAT MATLAB/Python).
Solid understanding of CubeSat subsystems ADCS Power Thermal Propulsion and RF communication systems.
Hands-on experience in system integration testing and verification (AIT/AIV) for space systems.
Knowledge of RF systems link budget analysis and IoT payload design (LoRa SDR LPWAN).
Familiarity with space standards and best practices (ECSS NASA standards IN SPACe/ISRO guidelines).
Strong skills in multidisciplinary coordination technical leadership and stakeholder management
