Senior Manager- L&D Operations (US Retirements)

Responsibilities: Job Purpose Oversees the strategy. design. development and implementation of training and development programs through managing a team. Direct appropriate training methodologies utilizing best practices ot adult learning that contribute to broader intiattves and development of teams. Description - Oversee the strategy. design. development and implementation Of training and development programs. Determine and direct broad training strategy. Ensure training programs align with broader business strategies. Work closely with business partners, senior managenent. and external partners/resources needed to ensure both funy trained and prepared training and operatims teams. - Develop and manage training programs focusing on best practices in adult learning. Lead critical initiatives that require senior level participation due to complexity or strategic importance. - Lead and direct staff. includng hiring, training, and career development, along with financial management of training program. - Provide compensation administration, performance management, rewards and recognition, coaching and mentoring. - Participate as a member of business unit leadership team representing the training and development area. - Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required. Qualifications: - 10+ years Of learning and development. Experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, or education. - 2+ years people management experience - Demonstrate expertise / knowledge of business unit products required - Must be highly knowledgeable in the areas Of performance management. instructional design methodology, and adult and accelerated leaming theory - Must have excellent planning/organizational. analytical, problem solving, interpersonal. negotiation, listening and oral/written communication skills
