Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Governance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Profit and Loss (P&L) governance and managing budgets to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• P&L Governance: Oversee and manage the governance of the Profit and Loss statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with DAISs goals and financial targets.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, variances, and actionable recommendations.
• Cost Control: Identify areas for cost optimization and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support, fostering a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
• Cost center creation as per approved BC
• SCM & vendor management DSF, SC, PO, Payments
• Manpower planning and tracking through Recruitment, Referrals, Open positions tracking
• Financial Planning & Budgeting - 5+7; 9+3 & 9+15: Travels, Headcount, Staff welfare, L&D, IT
• Monthly validation of Financial reports, re-class costs if any
• Travels – budgets and actuals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
• Proficient in advanced excel & PPT
• Proven experience in financial governance, budget management, and P&L oversight, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
