Safety Engineer

Job Title: Safety Engineer

As a Safety Engineer at HN Safal, you will be responsible for ensuring safety systems are effectively implemented at our project sites. You will work closely with the Safety Manager and project teams to monitor compliance, conduct safety checks, train site staff, and enforce HSE standards during construction activities.

Job Description

• Implement and monitor site-specific safety plans across residential and commercial projects.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
• Prepare and maintain safety checklists, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for high-risk activities.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, documenting root causes and corrective measures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workers to ensure compliance with PPE usage and safety norms.
• Conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, and refresher training for workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety equipment (firefighting systems, scaffolding, lifting equipment, etc.) is inspected and certified as per requirements.
• Support the Safety Manager in preparing safety audit reports, compliance registers, and MIS reports.
• Liaise with statutory authorities during safety inspections and ensure compliance with labor and environmental regulations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture by motivating workers to identify hazards and follow safe practices.

About You

• Minimum Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical with specialization in Industrial Safety / Safety Engineering.
• Minimum Experience: 3–5 years in construction/real estate safety management.
• Software Knowledge: MS Office and safety audit/reporting tools.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessments, accident prevention, and compliance standards.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
