Functional Consultant

Job Title: Functional Consultant – Pre-Sales (HMIS)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end product demonstrations of the HMIS, EMR, and Quality Management System (QMS) to prospective clients.
• Understand client workflows, business processes, and functional requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements, and coordinate with the Development team for feasibility, customization, and implementation.
• Act as a functional consultant by providing product expertise and recommending best-fit solutions.
• Support the Sales team during pre-sales discussions, presentations, RFPs, and solution demonstrations.
• Prepare demo environments, use-case scenarios, and proof of concepts (POCs) based on customer requirements.
• Work closely with Product, Development, and Implementation teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into functional specifications.
• Stay updated on HMIS workflows, NABH standards, healthcare regulations, and product enhancements.

Preferred Skills & Eligibility

• Must be a Doctor or Healthcare Professional (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT, Nursing, MHA, or equivalent healthcare qualification).
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in healthcare IT, hospital operations, quality management, or HMIS functional consulting.
• Experience in NABH/JCI implementation, hospital accreditation, or quality management initiatives is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in hospital quality implementation and process standardization.
• Strong knowledge of Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to understand hospital workflows and translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Experience in healthcare IT pre-sales or functional consulting is preferred.
