Career Counselor (IT Training) – ExcelPTP Solutions, Ahmedabad

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad
• Experience: 1+ Years (Education, Training, EdTech, or Sales Counseling Preferred)
  
  

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Career Counselor who can guide prospective students, understand their career goals, and help them choose the right training program.
• The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for counseling, and the ability to convert inquiries into admissions while maintaining long-term relationships with students.
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Counsel students and job seekers regarding IT training programs and career opportunities.
• Handle walk-in, phone, email, WhatsApp, and online inquiries professionally.
• Understand candidates' educational background and recommend suitable courses.
• Follow up with prospective students and convert leads into admissions.
• Maintain accurate lead records and update the CRM/LMS system regularly.
• Achieve monthly counseling, admission, and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with trainers and the placement team for student support.
• Participate in seminars, webinars, education fairs, and promotional activities.
  
  

Required Skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong counseling, convincing, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to understand students' career goals and recommend suitable programs.
• Good understanding of IT courses and career opportunities.
• Experience using CRM, LMS, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
• Effective use of AI tools such as ChatGPT for communication and productivity.
• Strong logical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Target-oriented with a positive attitude and self-motivation.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA/Marketing preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in Education, Training, EdTech, or Academic Counseling.
• Experience in admission counseling or inside sales will be an added advantage.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati is preferred.
