Pega Infrastructure Analyst

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Pega Infrastructure Analyst with 5+ years of expertise in administering, maintaining, and supporting enterprise Pega platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform Administration, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Apache Kafka, Docker, Helm, Elasticsearch, AWS OpenSearch, and AWS Infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, security, and performance of the Pega platform while supporting production environments, automating deployments, and implementing cloud-native infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Pega Platform Administration :

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Pega Platform environments.

- Perform Pega platform upgrades, patches, and infrastructure migrations.

- Manage multiple Pega environments including Development, QA, UAT, and Production.

- Ensure platform availability, security, and operational stability.

Cloud & Infrastructure Management :

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).

- Develop, maintain, and deploy applications using Helm Charts.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated infrastructure provisioning and deployments.

- Configure and manage AWS networking components, including Application Load Balancers (ALB).

- Support cloud-native deployments and infrastructure automation.

Messaging & Search Services :

- Configure and administer Apache Kafka clusters.

- Implement Kafka disaster recovery strategies and ensure platform resiliency.

- Deploy and maintain Elasticsearch and AWS OpenSearch services.

- Optimize search performance and cluster health.

Monitoring & Production Support :

- Monitor Apache servers, web servers, application servers, and database servers.

- Monitor application health, infrastructure performance, and system availability.

- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA).

- Optimize platform performance, scalability, and resource utilization.

- Participate in production support and on-call rotations.

Automation & DevOps :

- Automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Development teams.

- Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and best practices.

- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and release management activities.
